Here’s the greatest thing about my job

As teachers, every now and then we get messages from students thanking us for something we did that made a difference to them. The letters are often incredibly thoughtful and insightful and touch our hearts.

But occasionally we get an email like this where the students’ excitement shines through.

Not everyone might appreciate the subject line, but it made me laugh out loud. Especially since it capped off 7 months of hard work by this student.

Edited and thoughtful or impromptu and enthusiastic, the best thing about this job is getting to share in the student’s joy!
